We are delighted to confirm the White Horse, North Street, Sudbury, Suffolk as the venue again for LeeStock 2011.
We will be transforming the outdoor venue again and with a little more luck with the weather this year (!) we’ll all be basking in the sun with a cool drink and some fantastic music!
As always there will be a few LeeStock related events at in and around Sudbury and the White Horse in the lead up to the festival.
The Road to LeeStock will be back, showcasing bands performing at LeeStock each week throughout May and plans are afoot to repeat LeeFactor: Battle of the Bands.
Please make sure you keep checking the website and the White Horse itself for all the latest.
You can visit www.ridethewhitehorse.co.uk or add them as a facebook friend for more info on the venue.
Sudbury itself is easily accesible by car, train and bus. The market town is located between Colchester and Bury St Edmunds with Ipswich just 35 minutes away by car. There is a train station which shuttles towards Marks Tey with connections then to Colchester and London Liverpool Street. Bus services run daily throughout the area with good links to Bury St Edmunds, Colchester, Ipswich, Haverhill, Halstead, Long Melford, Glemsford and most other villages in the area.
The aptly named Willowmere camp site just outside Sudbury in Great Cornard and I know a lot of you had an excellent few days staying there last year. The site kindly made a donation to the cause as well so anyone travelling to the area approach Willowmere with confidence and be sure to mention LeeStock when booking!
Sudbury and the surrounding are has plenty of hotels, guest houses and b&bs to suit all tastes and budgets.
