We are really pleased to announce the 2015 LeeStock headline act will be Scouting For Girls.
The band originally formed in 2005 and signed to Epic Records in 2007. Their self titled debut album was released in September of that year, and eventually reached number one in the UK Album Chart. The album also gained triple Platinum status.
Their second album, Everybody Wants to Be on TV, was released in 2010 and peaked at number 2 in the charts. The hit song from their second album “This Ain’t a Love Song” stayed at the number one spot in the UK Singles Chart for two weeks. The band have over 2 million record sales to their name, have been nominated for countless Brit Awards and one Ivor Novello award.
A third studio album was released in 2012, The Light Between Us, which made it to number 10 in the UK Charts while their Greatest Hits reached number 8 a year later.
We are naturally very pleased to be welcoming the band to LeeStock in May 2015. We hope you’re just as excited as we are. Remember that LeeStock is held in memory of local musician Lee Dunford. All proceeds from the festival is donated to the Willow Foundation. Find out more about this wonderful charity here.
We look forward to seeing you all at Melford Hall on 23rd and 24th May 2015.
