So as April starts rolling on and the inevitable LeeStock approaches, we need a way to promote this festival extravaganza.
We’re just not sure we’ve mentioned enough that there is a festival on May 1st and 2nd, raising money for the Willow Foundation, of which the tickets are on sale now!!
In the spirit of spreading the word further and raising a little more money, we’re having our 2nd annual SudLeeStock Pub Crawl.
Starting in Long Melford at around 13:00 on April 24th, we will take a leisurely stroll through historic Long Melford, sampling the refreshments along the way. Last year we stopped off at the cricket pitch to have a race between Michael Jackson and BA (Jacko won, coming from behind), and no doubt there will be further devilish shenanigans this year. Once we’ve exhausted Melford’s kegs, we’ll be on to Sudders (via Chambers bus) for a few more for the road. No doubt we will end up in a certain Lounge, with a smile on our faces and beer / wine / alcopop in our bellies. Plus the odd bit of change in our pots for the mighty Willow Foundation.
There will be spot fines, lots of silly costumes and bucket loads of fun. The costumes can be as elaborate or as simple as you want – the only enforced piece of costume is a smile!
