Best known as the frontman in The Bluetones, Mark Morriss will once again make an appearance at LeeStock presenting the line up on 24th May 2015.
Mark Morriss released his debut solo album Memory Muscle way back in 2008. Getting his hands dirty with his own set of songs has been an inspiring experience for Morriss who started trying them out acoustically at open-mic nights in London during 2004: “I’d just turn up with my guitar, play five or six songs, along with everyone else. I didn’t want any special favours, and just enjoyed the experience of stripping things right back down.”

The Bluetones will be touring again later this year for their 20th anniversary. They split up back in 2011 after a farewell tour. The band had been together for 17 years and recorded 6 albums. We also have Mark performing all the great Bluetones hits around the country and will be appearing once again for LeeStock on 24th May 2015.
Mark originally headlined Sunday’s line up at LeeStock 2011 and played again in 2012 at The MEL Group Stadium. He presented our Sunday line-up in 2014, his second appearance for us at Melford Hall. We’re delighted to welcome him back to the live music scene in Suffolk. An exceptionally popular performer last year, Mark really bought into the reason behind the festival:
I’d just like to say that the atmosphere at last year’s event was so enjoyable that it was a very easy decision to return this year to help raise money and awareness for a great charity that is clearly very close to the heart of many local people.”
