“Since we took the reins of the White Horse in 2009, we’ve tried to push the boundaries of music and entertainment in pubs and venues generally in Sudbury.
We’ve been hugely successful in promoting the best of covers bands, new original music, acoustic nights, comedy and hopefully creating a great pub atmosphere where pretty much anybody can have a really good night out. We’re always looking to do something new and different which lifts our heads above the rest, so it came with great pleasure and pride that the LeeStock boys asked us to host last years’ festival and with all the big surprises in store for LeeStock 2011 to be the choice of venue for a second time.
These guys (Edd, James, Matt, Matt and Pete) selflessly devote time, energy and bags of passion to the cause, working their sweet butts off to raise money for the Willow Foundation and to provide you with the best of entertainment over 2 days. It’s a huge honour to be working with them and to be associated with LeeStock, Willow and the memory of Lee Dunford. Last years’ show was amazing, the bands were amazing and you guys were amazing too. You played hard, rocked hard and made two days hugely enjoyable, donating a huge amount of money to the charity as well as having a great time.
Now we’re working from the inside on this years’ show, we can’t begin to explain how excited we are that something of this magnitude is happening at the White Horse. We’re warning you to prepare yourselves for something huge, something so big, Sudbury has never seen the like before… Prepare yourselves for LEESTOCK 2011. It’s going to rock!”
