Rupert’s broad musical appeal gained prominent support in 2015 with performances amongst others, that included two performances at the Etihad Stadium pre match for Manchester City.
Displaying strong-hearted, beat driven acoustic rock, inspired tracks. Rupert has been compared to Richard Ashcroft, Jim Morrison and Nick Cave with a hint of Elbow. Stroud’s second album “Chasing The Night” saw him dubbed as Yorkshire’s one to watch.
The accolades kept coming, which soon saw Rupert with his band perform on the festival circuit sharing the stage with artist such as Texas, James Blunt, Little Comets, The Feeling, Reverend and The Makers, US artists Max Jury & Nell Bryden and rising stars Gavin James, Jake Isaac & JP Cooper and Ed Sheeran’s new signing Jamie Lawson.
We’re delighted to have him play for us at LeeStock 2016.
