FRETT are a band from the Suffolk / Essex border. Over the last year Frett have gained a lot of exposure in many different areas.
Their fan base is ever growing with around 6,000 twitter followers and over 1,500 fans on Facebook. Frett are ever driven by their passion for music and have produced all the music they have released to date.
Frett’s new release ‘EP3’ sees Frett at their most creative with soulful vocals over interweaving synth and guitar lines, rumbling bass sounds and driving drums. The EP pulls together elements of many different styles giving Frett a very original sound. The first single from the EP, ‘Porcelain’ captures Frett’s feel for atmosphere and mood whilst also showing their dynamic edge with a big catchy chorus and a hugely explosive ending.
Frett have had radio play from BBC Radio 1, XFM, Tom Robinson on BBC Radio 6 Music and Alex Baker on Kerrang! Radio as well as coverage on multiple local radio stations. Frett have also gained the approval of Universal records Simon Li, who described Frett’s work as ‘intelligent’ and ‘well crafted’. Frett have Performed a large number of gigs all over the UK including the London circuit. Frett have also featured on the bill at a number of festivals including: Beach Break Live, Wilkestock and the main stage at Brownstock festival 2013.
The EP has already gained a big amount of interest from BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music and XFM and Frett are hoping this could be their big year.
