Fred’s House are a folk-rock band based in Cambridge with songs featuring rich boy/girl vocal harmonies on a backdrop of guitars similar to Fleetwood Mac.
Fronted by couple and songwriting partners Vikki Gavin and Griff Jameson, along with Griff’s brother Gafyn Jameson on Bass and Backing Vocals, Lead Guitarist and songwriter Lachlan Golder and Percussionist Paul Richards.
Fred’s House have earned themselves slots many festivals including Bestival, Cambridge Folk Festival, and Acoustic Festival of Britain, emphatic local press reviews and even national radio airplay from BBC 6Music, BBC Radio Wales – including a BBC Introducing Live Session. They have been main support for the likes of Eddi Reader, The Kast Off Kinks (featuring original Kinks drummer Mick Avory) and Lucy Rose.
Their latest single Fine Life has been championed by For Folk Sake as their Track of the Day which is taken from their forthcoming debut album ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ due to be released in April 2014. Compelling songwriting, polarising vocal harmonies and unforgettable hooks continue to draw an ever expanding fan base.
