Abbie Broom, 17 year old acoustic singer songwriter from Suffolk. Inspired by artists such as Brian Fallon, Frank Turner, and Chuck Ragan.
Abbie will be recording a new track called ‘Battlefields’ and will be released as a download with all profits being split between ‘Help for Heros’ and ‘Willow Foundation’.
The LeeStock gig will be the penultimate gig on a short tour taking in festival dates in Liverpool, Crewe, & Congleton, plus gigs in Bedford and Colchester. Abbie played her 1st gig in May 2011 and has not stopped since. She had a week long tour in February to promote her 2nd release, the 7” vinyl ‘Dorothy’s Heels’ which has been played on national and local radio. Only last night Gas-house Radio in Philadelphia played one of her songs, ‘Worn Jeans’. Abbie also has a live session booked in July for Brooklands radio in Surrey.
She is endorsed by local guitar company ‘Nineboys’ who are based in Alpheton. Her big passion is collecting vinyl records new and old and going to gigs.
Abbie is currently finishing her 1st year in a music technology course at West Suffolk College.
